What is TERO?

TERO stands for Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance or Office. It is a federal law that requires all employers operating on Indian reservations to give preference to qualified Native American applicants. The Pawnee Nation TERO Office implements and enforces this ordinance within our tribal jurisdiction.

Our Purpose

Promote Tribal Employment:

We work to increase employment opportunities for enrolled Pawnee Nation tribal members, while also promoting economic development and self-sufficiency within our community.
